Międzyzdroje

The city of Międzyzdroje is a famous Polish resort located on the west coast of the Baltic Sea. The warmest sea on our Baltic Sea, a beautiful sandy beach, beautiful forests of the nearby Wolin National Park, Spa Park, make tourists and holidaymakers visit Międzyzdroje in crowds every year.

In July, the Festival of Stars takes place here, during which films, theater performances and vernissages are shown. Every year, new stars reveal their hands embedded in the pavement of the Avenue of Stars. The resort image is completed by the Seaside Promenade with an amphitheater next to it, as well as a 395-meter-long pier.

Pier

Pier - 395m long, the longest concrete pier in Poland. The first wooden pier was built in 1884. The pier is a favorite place not only for lovers visiting Międzyzdroje, but also all tourists admiring the sea panorama during summer sunsets and autumn spectacular storms.

Avenue of Stars

The work of prof. Adam Myjak associated with the organized since 1996. Festival of Stars. It is an unusual alley where almost 200 artist's handprints and monuments commemorating the great figures of cinema and theater have been immortalized in bronze. Every year, at the beginning of July, Międzyzdroje becomes the Polish seaside capital of culture, hosting Polish cinema stars and thousands of tourists.

Natural History Museum of the Wolin National Park - at permanent and temporary exhibitions you can admire the rich world of nature - plants and animals of the island of Wolin. Hunting white-tailed eagle carrying a hunted victim, attacking battalions or gray seals resting on the seashore are just some of the attractions. Next to the museum there is an aviary with a bald eagle.

Bison Demonstration Farm

Bison Show Farm - 1.2 km from the city, in the Wolin National Park. Established in 1976 as a tourist and educational facility in the Park. You can admire a herd of bison and beautiful specimens of deer, roe deer, wild boar and white-tailed eagles.

Kawcza Hill 61 m.n.p.m

Kawcza Hill 61m above sea level - a viewpoint over the Pomeranian Bay in the eastern part of the city. At the top, there are memorial boulders from the foresters' conventions from 1892. - Congress of German foresters from 1992. - Congress of the Polish Forest Society and below a stone obelisk commemorating the meetings of the World Association of Borderlands Home Army Soldiers.

Gosań Hill 94 m.n.p.m

Gosań Hill 94m above sea level - the highest cliff in Poland. Access via road no. 102 in the direction of Kołobrzeg (approx. 4 km from the center of Międzyzdroje). You reach the place through picturesque hills covered with hundred-year-old beeches and oaks. From the top there is an impressive panorama of the waters of the Pomeranian Bay, in the distance you can see the pier in Międzyzdroje, the port in Świnoujście and part of the German coast of the island of Usedom.

Turquoise Lake

Turquoise Lake - over the lake with a beautiful color there are forested hills, there is an educational path near the strict reserve prof. Szafer. Until the 1950s, there was a chalk mine here, which was flooded, creating a lake with its original color. The lake can be walked around using the picturesque paths marked by the Wigry National Park.
